Football Factory

The project

Football Factory was selling football jerseys through Instagram and WhatsApp, which meant product discovery, enquiries and orders depended heavily on manual conversations.

In 2023, I was brought in to create a proper e-commerce experience around the business.

I designed and developed the complete website using WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce. The existing Football Factory logo was retained, while I developed the wider website visual direction around a dark football-inspired interface with bright green accents.

A significant part of the project involved organizing a large catalogue of football apparel into a structure customers could actually browse. Products covered different teams and collections, including club jerseys, international kits, retro products, jackets, hoodies and other football apparel.

I handled the implementation end-to-end, including product structure, responsive layouts, cart and checkout functionality, shipping setup, forms, WhatsApp integration and the underlying commerce configuration.

I also created the Razorpay account for the business, completed the required registration process and integrated the payment gateway into WooCommerce so customers could complete purchases directly through the website.

The finished site gave Football Factory a dedicated online store instead of relying solely on Instagram and WhatsApp for the complete sales process.

Result

Football Factory moved from a heavily manual Instagram-and-WhatsApp sales process to a dedicated e-commerce storefront where customers could browse the jersey catalogue, add products to cart and complete payments online.
